We love a good wedding

Although St Clere has hosted some incredible weddings over the past ten years we are now focused on filming, and having a diary full of wedding bookings for years into the future is not helpful when the phone rings with a wonderful filming opportunity.

So from now on it’s elopements (or weddings in the next six weeks) or extra-large weddings (300+ guests) only for us. Read on if that applies to you…

St Clere might as well have been built for wedding receptions. As well as the classical country house backdrop, it’s the unexpected nooks and crannies that really creates the romance and those incredible photographs!  Cast iron gates, ancient brickwork and the thorn arch are all elegant and flattering. Then of course there are the more obvious draws, the listed St Clere House, the buildings around the garden such as the orangery and pergola, and the lake which reflects the temple, St Clere and the incredible North Downs. St Clere is now partnering with The Wedding Dolls (www.theweddingdolls.co.uk) who are the best wedding planners we’ve come across. We include their ‘Dolly on the Day’ package within the venue hire charge, and we get great feedback about how helpful this is. Some of our brides and grooms choose to upgrade the arrangement with The Wedding Dolls and have even more support from them in the build up to the big day no matter where their ceremony is held.

We have very few receptions at St Clere, a maximum of five a year. We want every one to be individual and precious and our couples to choose suppliers we know are excellent and will over-deliver. Please see below for some of our trusted suppliers and partners.
